Lisa has a solid belief in building therapeutic relationships between client and therapist, helping clients trust in themselves facilitating growth and self-reflection which helps with the healing process. She has experience facilitating individual, group, and family counseling. Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy are theories that she utilizes within the therapeutic process. Ms. Taylor is currently employed with Healing, Empowering, Learning, Professional, LLC. as a Behavioral Health Consultant with emphasis on Social Emotional Learning within the Chicago Public Schools. Ms. Taylor is also a Certified Telehealth Provider.
Lisa is mindful of the importance of self-care and well-being of self and how her mindset impacts others, by practicing mindfulness and self-care she can provide quality care and support to her clients. She practices yoga and enjoys running a yearly 5k with A Safe Haven Foundation, for homelessness. She enjoys attending music concerts, art museums, traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.
