Jasclyn has 10 years of experience as a therapist as well as experience as a hospice chaplain. She is a certified Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Advocate. Jasclyn uses a multi-modality approach to meet the specific needs of her clients. Additionally, she has experience assisting individuals who suffer from trauma and grief while encouraging them to explore their feelings, thoughts, and pain to learn how to accept new roles within their transitions and find joy amid the storm. While being an advocate for diversity and inclusion in marginalized communities for equitable resources and safe havens, she has been a part of facilitating and developing curriculum, trainings and speaking at workshops to educate others on the importance of identifying positive language and celebrating differences while acknowledging the similarities across diverse cultures, ethnicities, race, and sexual orientation. Having a strong belief that it takes a village, she encourages those with power to foster justice within targeted communities by challenging policies and laws that promote and heighten institutionalized discrimination.
Jasclyn enjoys listening to music and dancing. She has a strong believe in self-care thus she enjoys exercising, trips to the nail salon, adventures with her son, and devotion time to deepen her faith. She is a native of Chicago, IL raised on the South-side.
