Training Opportunity:

 Part-time internship opportunities for therapy, assessment, training and consultation services. Work is performed under the supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist or licensed clinical professional counselor.

 Ideal Students:

 We are seeking a predoctoral candidate in clinical or forensic psychology to assist with psychological, parenting, and disability evaluations conducted in my practice. We are also willing to consider advanced doctoral students who need to complete a testing/diagnostic externship. An ideal candidate will have familiarity with the fundamental principles of psychological assessment (including satisfactory completion of coursework); ability to meet and effectively relate to people with physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities; proofreading, clerical and clinical writing aptitude; reliability; and good professional judgment.

 We are also seeking predoctoral candidates in clinical mental health, counseling psychology, or counselor education and supervision to assist with mental health services delivered to students in Chicago Public Schools. An ideal candidate will have familiarity the social, emotional, and learning needs of urban youth and prior therapy experience with underserved populations. Candidates must be comfortable with learning evidence-based curriculum and interventions to reduce aggression and trauma-focused symptoms in youth.

Candidates must submit to fingerprinting for FBI clearance, criminal history check and child abuse history clearance. Participation in supervision and successful completion of all mandatory trainings must be completed before direct service delivery.
