Elbert has been serving communities and families in the Chicago area and surrounding Suburbs for close to twenty years. He has a passion for helping people connect to their better self. He is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of children and families through advocacy, healing, education, and self-empowerment. Elbert has taken these practices and used them to support teachers, administrators, and students in CPS.

While working with HELP LLC, Elbert has offered services in CPS as a Mental Health Professional and a SEL Consultant. As a Restorative Practice Consultant, Elbert has supported teachers and students, while working with administrators to assist in developing their vision of an equitable school community and culture.

Outside of this work, Elbert is the founder and CEO of Restoring Our Communities LLC. He works with local non for profits utilizing curriculums that are aimed at educating and healing by promoting self-love, civics, and a positive cultural identity..
