Jeremiah Ringo

MENTAL HEALTH & YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONAL

Jeremiah Ringo is a Governor’s State graduate with a focus of criminal & restorative justice within the adolescent and adult population. He has 5 years of experience working as a mental health advocate and technician for the State of IL. Collectively within his years of study and work experience, Jeremiah has found a new passion within his linkage of specialties and education to deliver a fresh approach addressing trauma within at risk communities throughout IL.

Jeremiah enjoys working with young populations in efforts to instill new social and emotional life skills that aim to deter violence and deliver healthy coping mechanisms that will improve the overall behavioral health of young individuals. In addition to his passion for the youth, Jeremiah is also known for his influential and positive impact with children most recently demonstrated through his volunteer efforts as a Coach for the Matteson Pro AM Basketball league. Jeremiah is a devoted Christian, loving husband, and proud father of four children who loves spending quality time with his family as well as being a model example for young individuals and families within his community. 

Jeremiah enjoys reading the Bible, family outings, thought provoking conversions, playing basketball, and learning about other people’s outlook on life. His goals for the future are to learn and grow as a Husband, Father, and as a humanitarian.
