Dr. Rhonda Sherrod

OUTPATIENT THERAPIST

Dr. Sherrod is a former Assistant Professor of Psychology at Alabama A&M University, and as an licensed psychologist in Alabama, she taught undergraduate and graduate psychology students.  Dr. Sherrod has extensive experience providing therapy for adolescents and adults, and providing testing for elementary school students.  She likes working with Black women and girls in the areas of trauma, anxiety, and wellness, and she enjoys working with adolescents and young adults.

Dr. Sherrod loves reading, writing, and presenting lectures/talks on psychology, the history of Black people in the US and throughout the world, and women’s issues through my company, The Need To Know Group.  She is also a yoga enthusiast.

She is the author of Surviving, Healing, and Evolving: Essays of Love, Compassion, Healing, and Affirmation for Black People.
