Cherrell has over eight years of experience providing behavioral and clinical support within schools, clinics and non-profits agencies. Cherrell specializes in working in community based agencies in Chicago serving the underprivileged, economically disadvantaged and people of color. Cherrell strives to continue growing and developing as a dedicated mental health provider that is committed to implementing effective individual, family and group counseling, while also providing care through use of multiple skills; such as multicultural competency, professional ethics, continuous learning and a quality work ethic. 

Cherrell believes in empowerment, education and providing collaborative justice to those that need it most. She is committed to providing quality services, as she knows the extraordinary impacts that social justice, advocacy and community support can have on underprivileged populations. Some of her personal interests and hobbies are meditation/yoga, listening to music (mainly jazz but open to all genres) reading, writing, drawing, painting, singing, dancing, cooking and exploring nature. Most of these activities are encouraged to the individuals that she serves to utilize as forms of self care and coping techniques!
