Ta’Kia, with her 5 years of experience, has developed a deep understanding and empathy towards youth who struggle in school due to various circumstances. She recognizes that each student's challenge is unique, but the common thread is the emotional and behavioral difficulties that permeate multiple aspects of their lives. Her previous role at a behavioral institute involved working with children in a day treatment program, an alternative school for behavioral issues. In addition, Ta’Kia has also provided support to individuals impacted by drugs and addiction. 

Ta’Kia firmly believes in the power of dreams and visions. She is a firm advocate that anything is possible if one can dream or envision it. In her personal life, Ta’Kia finds joy in artistic pursuits, such as creating paintings from free-pouring paint, planning surprise events, and brainstorming ways to connect with different people. She believes that making connections is one of the most important things we can do as humans.
